Our Story
In May 2015, in collaboration with Janssen Research & Development, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company, we hosted a Research Summit on Intimate Partner Violence Prevention. Leaders from corporations, academia, health care, government institutions, and advocacy organizations joined forces to define a path forward to prevent this violence.
The recommendation: no one organization can solve this global crisis on its own.
The complexities of intimate partner violence demand collaboration from a consortium of public and private entities, stakeholders and influencers who can collectively lend their passion and expertise to develop and deploy evidence-based best practices and policies. This led us to the creation of the Harvard Learning Lab.
Our Vision
We are taking a bold step by exploring evidence-based prevention models, public awareness and advocacy and uniting the public and private sectors, communities, stakeholders and influencers in a collaborative effort to prevent intimate partner violence. Learn More
